The war in Ukraine in late February 2022 led to the arrival of Ukrainian refugees
and evacuated soldiers in European countries. As of 17th January 2023, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees estimated that 7.9
million refugees from Ukraine were recorded across Europe [

]. Antimicrobial resistance is a major issue in Ukraine, both inside and outside hospital
facilities. In recent years, among the pathogens responsible for healthcare-associated
infections (HAIs), 41% of Staphylococcus aureus were meticillin resistant, 12% of Enterococcus faecium were glycopeptide-resistant enterococci (GRE), and 48% of Enterobacterales were carbapenemase
producing (CPE) [
